Did you get paid by MyLot today?

Today was one of those days where I DID realize it was the 15th, and that I would probably get paid by MyLot. Even though earnings are down, I was able to make payout last month, and I probably will this month as well, even with my pending trip to Montana.
As a former Bubblews member, I am thankful to MyLot for the fact that I never "wonder" if I will get paid, so long as I reach $5.00 in a given month. It's not the money that matters. It's feeling like the world is (at least somewhat) a predictable place. That's psychology right there. People who feel the world is at least somewhat predictable and somewhat controllable experience less stress and better health.
This afternoon, I teach at Guitar Center. My students will learn something. I will have fun with them. I will get paid for my efforts.
So are things as they should be for you on this sunny and warm afternoon? Are you doing things to keep your stress levels down? And your sense of predictability and controllability up?

I am a creature of habit and I don’t like a lot of change. It is nice to always be able to count on Mylot coming through with their payments to us. Bubblews was such a letdown.

@TheHorse I loved it in the beginning, but it soon went astray.

I hated just writing drivel but I didn't understand that that was a site where most people just seemed to want to write and read drivel. I was trying to establish myself as a freelance writer back then so didn't want to just write a bunch of drivel. Oh well, it's all in the past and I am happy here at myLot.

As long as you have reached the minimum amount of $5 before the last day of the month in question, and you have given myLot your PayPal email address, you will automatically receive that amount on or before the 15th of the next month.

@DaddyEvil Yeppers. That's how I understand it. But if we don't give them our Paypal address, can we simply accumulate pennies and dollars?

I got paid but far less than what I earned in the month of May This was for two months. I like to collect rather than cash out every month

@TheHorse If you disable your paypal email address and put it whenever you wish to that is how it is done.

I hope you enjoy your students this afternoon. On my way home from my doctor appointment, I stopped and bought cupcakes. Everything is right with the world when you can enjoy cupcakes. YUM!

My earnings have been down all year, and instead of making payout every month like I have in the past, I have only been making it every 2 or 3 months. I'd rather have the consistency of cashing out every month, but I also have to accept that I am not on the site as much as I used to be. But I was happy that this month happened to be one in which I had enough to make payout, so no complaints from me!

I didn’t even realize today is the 15th already until I saw the PayPal email for mylot. Doesn’t look like I will have a pay day next month but never know.

I did not as I did not reach the $5.00. I relive my stress by playing word puzzle on my smartphone.

@TheHorse I have heard about it but I can't remember exactly what it is. Is it something related to words?

NO! I did not get paid, even though I made payout.
Tuesday afternoon was rainy, so didn't get outside stuff done, but did do some stitching so kept my stress level down.

Yep, thanks to myLot I got my money and it on its way to my bank. I am quite upset with another former paying site Virily. They appear to keep a hold of all my former posts for what reason I don't know. Admin has long stopped anwering people many of which are here on myLot and they stopped paying ages ago. However, the site still exists and appears a few are posting on it and how it remains in existence I don't know but I would be happier to have my account deleted and then I usually refurbish my former posts and can use them as I need them.

@TheHorse you got that all I wrote for a long time is still there along with my profile and along with a lot of other people we left Virily but accounts stayed. I very much doubt that anyone now looks for or reads our old stuff. I cannot figure that site out,

I was lucky that I was paid every cent I earned on Bubblews. I hope MyLot continues to be a steady and reliable site. I would hate to lose all of my friends here! Things are very quiet and boring here.

I agree, it's nice to have predictability. Depends sometimes, as you also teach music, I do too, and that for me is very unpredictable as they will cancel at last minute sometimes. Sometimes I don't mind the cancelation, but I do mind when they wait till last second and beyond to let me know, since it wastes my time dressing, preparing and waiting, and then change out of clothes again when in home studio. Speaking of which, when you posted this on Tue, that was may teaching day with the cancelation. It definitely is less stressful when knowing what to expect.
I teach guitar as well, mostly piano. Nice to run into a fellow music person.

I am lucky (right now) to teach at Guitar Center. If someone "flakes," they are still charged for their lesson, and I still get paid. If I open my own studio upon retirement, I will have to consider how to deal with clients who are not responsible.
