I went to Sloppy Joes too, it was a great place. Even still have the souvenir drink cup from there! LOL!

that is ok, but you should try to get there sometime. It is so nice, very laid back & just an overall fun atmospere.

I haven't been yet, but I am planning to go soonish. I really want to see the sunset! Has anyone gone to see Hemmingway's six-toed cats?

I absolutely, absolutely loved a little place called "Best Damned Food" and let me tell you, it is the best damned food I've ever eaten. I love Rueben sandwiches and they make it like I've never had it before. It was so buttery and toasted just right. I hate sandwiches that get all soggy and it never got that way. Even the burgers are great. And worth the money. Hope you try it one day.
Hopefully one day we can go back.

Margaritaville was awesome. I think a lot of people are only there for 2-3 hours and don't get the full experience. If you are going to Key West, plan to stay overnight!! The nightlife is awesome. Sloppy Joe's Bar was pretty fun. I enjoyed walking around and seeing everything - like the "90 Miles to Cuba" sign. Also, take the time to watch the sunset over the Ocean. It is definately worth seeing.

I have never been, but sure want to go. I had a cousin who lived there for many, many years and she always wrote and told us of the many wonderful places to go and things to see. She mentioned Fort Jefferson, two friends patio restuarant, Eco tours, and many other places. I think I would have to go online and search out as much as I could do in the time allowed. She said there is no place in Key west that is not fun and relaxing. I think I will add this to my vacation trip list now.
