Busy Week + Bunny Astronaut Design

I haven't been around quite as much the past couple days. I think I did share the other day that we had gone shopping at thrift stores to find Eli (my son) more clothes for school.
Yesterday was even more busy because it was laundry day. It was also my grandmother's birthday. We had some gifts for her, and a cake. I also made dinner - a casserole with tater tots, beef and cheese (and some cream of chicken soup).
We also had some fun with a kitten that followed us around all day. Don't know where it came from, but it didn't want to leave. It was very friendly too.
Today we will go find out who Eli's teacher will be for 4th grade. We'll find out where his classroom is and get to meet the teacher too. Hoping for a great teacher like he had last year.
I'll share about that later...

@kaylachan Just not sure what to expect when a lot of the 4th grade teachers quit after last year.

I think the bunny looks very happy! You know what would be cute? Do you remember those trapper keepers? If you could put your art designs on the front of trapper keepers that would be so cool!
It will be so nice once Eli is more familiar with his school after today. Kids always worry about the little details at first, and once those are settled, maybe they can be a little more reassured. I look forward to hearing how things go.

Glad you like the astro-bunny! Making cat astronauts now lol. I am going to want to make all animals astronauts lol. I think I know what you are talking about, I never had a fun one, just a plain colored one lol. But these designs would be cool on those, or folders, notebooks...etc.
Well the 4th grade classes are close to the 3rd grade ones...so at least he knows where he'll have to go...but knowing the exact room and stuff will be very good. Can't believe he only has 4 days of break left!

@AmbiePam oh yeah that would be awesome. I could do a lot of these items on Zazzle. Only thing is it would cost a lot for people to buy the items. and I would only get 10% profit

Glad you think it is.
That is good to hear.
Eli got a teacher that is new, her first year of teaching. So not sure how that will go. His best friend is in his class again, 3rd year in a row.

@RubyHawk yeah not sure how they ended up together all three years in elementary...this will be the 4th year they'll be together I think.

I love the bunny! So so pretty!
Hope everything is well with the new teacher! I wish we had a chance to meet the new teachers when I was in school, it was always a surprise when we got there and then we get to hear the horror stories later haha but wishing for the best for you!

@MommyOfEli2013 I think it is good to be able to meet the teachers, but even in high school, we got our schedules and would post them and the upperclassmen were like "oh that teacher!" and then we either heard horror stories or good stories haha and then on the first day of class we already had an opinion about that teacher, which is not the best thing haha

@DesirousDreamer I think I went through similar things in highschool, maybe even middle school lol. Being in the schools with kids that are a lot bigger can be scary enough lol

Thank you, I sure hope so.... Oh really? I figured everyone got to meet their teachers, at least in elementary. I don't remember meeting teachers ahead of time, myself lol
