What's wrong in saying " I don't Know "

Sometimes, it's okay to say "I don't know" or "I don't have a strong preference". You don't need to have an opinion on everything, especially if you are not well-informed or interested in the topic. Having an opinion for the sake of having one can lead to unnecessary stress, arguments, or mistakes. It's better to be honest and open-minded than to pretend you know something you don't. You can always learn more and form your opinion later, or just let others have theirs without feeling the need to agree or disagree. I have actually seen people trying to pop in just to impress, which actually back fires

I have always preferred honesty over boasting to know everything or to say something just to make an impression.

I think you are right. It’s good for us all to remember that’s okay to admit.

Not every boss nor hubby could accept i dont know as an answer. Because to them it is still your fault, or your parents fault for not knowing. This is what my hubby said to me

I do understand what you are trying to say, in a situations where you know, your "don't know" will back fire, better to stay quite... and not say anything at all.

Better to be honest than spewing stuff without fact checking. It makes one look more foolish.

If i don't know sth,i will directly tell "i don't know",i are not used to pretending to know sth.Somtimes, ppl pretend knowing sth or having opinion to sth will embarrass themselves.Ppl can accept a person's ignorance, but hard to accept a liar.
