A Christmas shop in Toodyay

Our village had organised a bus trip to Toodyay today. We are house-sitting some 40 minutes from Toodyay so we drove there to join our fellow community members to have lunch in the hotel and to check out the various tourist shops in the town.
One of the big attractions was the Christmas shop which was quite amazing. There were numerous rooms all chockablock full of all manner of Christmas items. Vince took a photo with his phone for me to use which gives you a very small idea of the size of the display.
Sorry, the photo won't load. I'll try again later.

I hope you and Vince had fun on the trip. There are several shops that sell Christmas stuff year-round not far from where we live.

Yeah, try again later. I would love to see it. I love Christmas stores. There aren't so many around though.

@JudyEv There used to be one in a town about an hour from here...but that whole town got taken over by urban sprawl. I doubt seriously it is there anymore. The area looks completely different from what it used to...lost its character.

@snowy22315 Our capital, Perth, has spread up and down the coast from its centre and what were once country areas are now urban sprawl too. It's just a shame. I don't where all these people come from to move into the hundreds and hundreds of new houses.

We have a huge shop like that in Michigan. They are open all year. Enjoy your day.

@LindaOHio I thought I'd buy something for the Christmas tree but last year we didn't have one. There isn't really anywhere suitable for it to go and this year we won't be home so no sense buying tree ornaments.

@JudyEv I know! We don't need anymore Christmas things. We have boxes full of items.

I love browsing in those Christmas type shops. They do have quite a lot to choose from.
Hope you enjoyed your day with your fellow villagers.
When the photo uploads (eventually) it will give you another opportunity for another post
