Age is just a number

The physical or mental state of an individual has many a time nothing to do with one's age. I have known oldies having an alert mind and body but some youngsters would have lost both their physical and mental capability.
Here is a fine example that tells you age is just a number

I went breathless with her moves. So, energetic and graceful! Good that Simon apologized at the end. He was too quick and impulsive to judge.

@allknowing Yes, I have seen him doing so. Even his comments at times are harsh.

I understand according to doctors is that a person works out a lot doing exercise, they live longer than a person who is depressed and out of physical condition.

Just the same, though, if my eighty-year-old father, had gotten into the boxing ring with a prime Mike Tyson, I know who would have won.
Age does affect our body, and we should not deny that fact.

It is how one takes care of one's mind and body when age takes a back seat.

@allknowing Yes, with the right attitude, we can stay young in our mind, and with exercise, our body will stay younger, for longer too.

As a 58 year old who has always exercised regularly, and still does, I can tell you that age definitely takes it's toll on the body no matter how fit you may be.
I suspect I'm a lot fitter than most people but I always have some level of discomfort in some part of my body which is attributable to just getting older.
I just live with it and carry on because, as the saying goes, you don't stop because you get old, you get old because you stop.
My head tells me I'm still in my twenties but my body just laughs at that notion!!

No doubt about that but when we say age is just a number it is for those who "get old because they stop."

It's the spirit that gives you the lift. The lady talent might be a very good dancer and would like to live with it.
