The Hovering Parent

I think there are some parents that are over protective and then there are some that just don't seem to care that much. Not that they don't try to act like they don't care, but you can tell by how much time they actually spend with them and the effort they put behind their child.

I think I am an over protective parent. My daughter, say's I never let her do anything and she is 15. I try to trust her, but it is hard when I know all her friends are untrustworthy.

i dont know most of the parent i see really dont hover , but over book their kids with a ton of after school stuff , or they stop being involded in their life after a certain age , like my sis n law after her kids can walk they are pretty much on their own (dont ask me why ) its insane but I guess ya could say that i hover too much LOl my kids say im mean and wont let them do anything and the like but im their mom not their friend ;) ~M~
