Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too.
Senior Citizens mostly live a lonely life as they are retired from their work, lost their dear ones etc.
Old age is difficult phase of life. A person is independent, works hard the whole life and in old age, gets dependent on others physically and financially.
"National Senior Citizen Day" was first celebrated in 1988. It was founded by Ronald Reagan, the former President of United States of America.
I believe that we should spend as much time as possible with our parents and grandparents as they need our company, warmth, love and support.
I wasn't fortunate to spend time with my grand parents as they had expired before my birth. I spend a lot of time before and now too with my parents. I give lot of importance to my family.
Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a great day. Take care.

You are doing well to stay with your parents most of the time. I stay with my parents too most of the time. We don't have that kind of holiday in my country.

I absolutely cherished my grandparents, and visited and called them often. I miss them dearly now.
And even though my dad and his wife don’t seem like senior citizens, they certainly are. I love them, and make sure they know it.
One thing I really like about my dad’s church is their care for senior citizens. They visit those in the nursing home, and for those that still live on their own, they have special days, once a month, that senior citizens are invited to the pastor’s house for lunch and games. They really enjoy the camaraderie.
