Doing My Usual Scavaging

I was scavaging for a movie to watch on my Roku tv. I haven't done this for a while because I had become so disillusioned by the ones I've found recently. Not good at all. Even the one I watch Saturday night (Interstellar) with Mathew Mac wasn't that great. But, I went again to check knowing there have to be some good ones out there to watch. Well, I am happy to say I did come upon two and they were both really good ones. Here are their reviews: Labor Day (2013) on Peacock The story of a man who escapes prison while in the hospital for surgery. He meets a boy and his mom in a store and makes them help him. This is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I really enjoyed it from beginning to end. I don't usually care for Kate Winslet. She is usually so stoic and not very energetic. And Josh Broline was excellent. What a love story! The Outsider (2002) on Freevee A young Mennonite widow comes across a badly wounded gunman on her land. She takes him into her home and nurses him back to health. He is a hard case, hateful, and your typical thug. She is a strict religious sort and slowly they begin to care for one another. This is another love story that is so touching and sweet. Tim Daly is gorgeous and Naomi Watts is so pretty. The storyline keeps you on edge and is so entertaining.

I haven't seen either of them, but the second one reminds me of Angel and the Bad Man starring John Wayne. I'm glad you found movies you liked.

I loved Intersteller. I haven't seen Labor Day, or The Outsider. As I posted, I watched an anime of Treasure Island on Tubi. I'm hoping to watch the 1972 version of Treasure Island on Tubi later this week.

Thank you for the reviews and critiques. Unfortunately I just quit Peacock and Hulu to get Netflix again. I wanted to watch Manifest. Enjoy your week.

I watch movies in Netflix. My latest serial movie I watched is The Flash. It's a good movie. It's more on humanity, love of family.
