A Post Before Shutting Down The Laptop.

Hey there, everyone. I've been marking tasks off my to-do list, and posting on MyLot is one of those tasks, so why not complete the list? I got started on my work a little after 11am, which is later than I had hoped (as I wanted to get started at 11am). It's okay, they only needed 3 orders instead of 6, so I was finished earlier. It was a nice way to ease into it, to be honest, and those three orders have already been accepted. :) After I finished those orders, I took a short break and placed an order for some groceries on Target's website. Eventually, I got started on my next order (which is a "try-out" for another client), and then I took a break to pick up my order. I got in a little more work when I got home, but then I ran to Rite-Aid with my niece and nephew because I forgot to add dog treats to my Target order. I've only been buying the smaller bags, but I'll eventually get a bigger bag for my (three) dogs. Once we got home, I got back to work for a while, and I feel I got a lot done. I did give myself an extra 45 minutes or so for my "evening shift" since I ran to the store. I have a few more sections of this order, but I'm going to finish that up tomorrow evening; after I'm finished with the other orders. I'm trying to work on my work-life balance, so I'm finished with my work for the night, and this order isn't due until Wednesday afternoon (but it'll be finished tomorrow). I'm not planning to go anywhere tomorrow. My plan is to get up, make a homemade peanut butter and banana smoothie, and get started on my work at 11am. I'll take a break after my daytime orders (the ones I'm supposed to work on between 11am and 4pm), and then I'm going to finish up my other order and go from there. My plan for tonight is to eat dinner and relax, and that's what I'm going to do. You all have a good night/evening, stay safe, and take care. :)

I will do my best to take care of myself working inside of the home doing my work sharing good news stories here and playing games on the Publishers Clearinghouse site in hopes of winning some prizes.

I like how you hold yourself accountable here. It's through your posts here that I began to try to do the same. Unfortunately, I haven't been consistent. But now I've been doing much better. The key word is "try". Trying ain't gonna get it done. I've learned from the Nike motto that from now on to... "Just Do It" Hope all's well with you. I reached out to you through the messages here. Keep in touch

Thank you! Sometimes my schedule shifts, so that's why I use the word "try" --- but holding myself accountable is also necessary. I won't learn and improve if I don't. I've been super slow with things. I need to check my messages on here. I'm sorry about that!

I'm still working on that work/life balance and failing at it. At least I can feel good about what I managed to accomplish today. With last month's roll over it should be a decent payday.

I'm glad you were able to accomplish a lot! And yeah, a work-life balance is a struggle, but it's necessary. You'll get there.

Thanks! I think I did well that day. Sometimes I can't quite remember because they start to blur together lol.
