I kept forgetting them because last two weeks of the month something important happens. Then I forget to have them surrendered to the village where the junkyard guys collects the recycled items.
Good thing the officer sent one of their staff to pick me up because I brought sacks of it.
Maybe Next time i will just sent it to the junk shop, maybe get some money a little bit.
Have a nice day

We save aluminum soda cans to take to the recycling. They pay well for those here.
I hope you and your family are all doing well.

@Letranknight2015 We get about .56 cents per pound for the soda cans, or about 1.8 cents each for them. (I think that's about 101.6 PHP per empty soda can.)

I hate it when "something important happens" and screws up our plans.

It's good to know that there is some sort of recycling program in your area. I remember when I was still a small child and living in the Philippines, my friends and I would wait for the gentleman who pushes a cart and buys old newspapers and glass bottles. Then we would spend the money on ice cream or candies. That was my first encounter with recycling.

It started way back in 2013 with a seminar. But it was never strictly implemented until a new mayor came into power, recycling was truly rewarded this time. Sadly, now a days others are just lazy to organize their trash even @Raine38

There's a man who comes here every now and then to get our junks. Actually, he buys these junks but we just give it to him for free. It's already a big help that he collects them. We don't have to bring them to a junk shop.
