Have you ever bought something a Mylotter was selling?

We have a lot of talented Mylotters who sell their work like books, art, fashion accessories, and more. I think it was about ten years ago I bought a a plastic bag crocheted purse from a Mylotter who is no longer here. You couldn’t tell at all that it was recycled plastic grocery bag, and I got so many compliments on it.
Recently, I bought a noteboook with amazing art on it by a mylotter as a present for my niece Amyra, and I told a relative about a children’s book someone here wrote (their kids ended up loving it). I can’t afford to just spend money, so I only use my survey site money (and Mylot money, plus earned Amazon gift cards) to buy presents, and it was so cool that I “knew” people with such talent.
So, I was wondering, have any of you ever bought anything from a Mylotter? What was it?
*I ran this discussion by Alice (who okayed it), and said I would not mention people’s names or usernames nor promote certain items. So please don’t mention specifics either as I don’t want anyone to violate guidelines. Let’s just not get specific.

@RebeccasFarm Sometimes you have to wade through the BS on occasion, absolutely. It’s given out for free.

Yes, I bought a series of books from an author here. They were okay.

@DaddyEvil Is that why you said they were just okay? Were you being modest?

@AmbiePam I knew those books were good. I did the editing on them for her.

I have not, was, thinking about buying someones book but I do not read. I know nothing to brag about. I read all the time but sitting down for hours reading drives me insane.
I have had people offer to donate me money here, though. I never took them up on it because earned money is hard to make and they should not be wasting it on the likes of me. I never cared about money that much as long as I have enough to get by. It would be nice to have some so could go to certain places or even a concert here and there, but thats not anyone's problem but mine.

I’ve never bought anything from a fellow Mylotter. I have exchanged greeting & Christmas cards , postcards and exchanged a few gifts over the years too.

I bought some crocheted items from a myLotter for Christmas presents one year (I think it may have been the same myLotter you bought from, as that person is no longer here).
I also bought and downloaded on my Kindle a couple of books written by a current and active myLotter.

@moffittjc It must not have been the same person, you are right. I vaguely remember who you ARE talking about, and I remember being surprised by how good he was. My prejudiced mind never thought a guy would put in such an effort to get so good, but he really was.

@AmbiePam Oh, maybe it wasn’t the same person. The myLotter I bought from was a guy in England

I have not purchased anything from another mylotter, but I would like to if I had the funds. I am currently saving money for my father's dialysis sessions and other essentials.

@AmbiePam Unfortunately, he does not have insurance. We have to pay Php 600 or $12 per dialysis session and it should be done 3x per week.

I have bought a number of handmade items from a friend that used to participate here. I met her here then also met her in person. I am thinking she may have been your bag creator. She now has a small shop in her city at a place called The Vintage Market.
