It's been a hot week and this awful heat warning is going to be over tomorrow!!
It's been over 100° all week and it's just evil hot outside, I think the pit of hell open up for awhile and we have not seen in rain for awhile.
August started off so good to us and now it's going out with a bang!!

@MommyOfEli2013 I can deal with the 80s a lot better then that 114° we had ..but at night it is great sleeping till you get to cold lol.

@hillhjill 80's are still warm but not as bad. 60's is good for the night, don't need to get much colder than that thanks lol

We had over 5 inches of rain last weekend but it's been hottttt otherwise. We've been over 100F every day with a RealFeel at least 10 degrees higher.
Saturday our high should be 88F, which is cooler than normal for my part of Missouri in August.

@hillhjill It's 88F at 2:10 pm with a RealFeel of 106F now. It still just feels hot here. The heat is supposed to break for us late tonight and then we'll have a few days where it only reached 80F as a high.

The same here but without any rain, till last night and it let loose and I was so happy about that. It's in the 80s today and rain, feels amazing.

We have had over a week with temperatures over 100 F. Some days reaching 109. Relatively cooler today at maybe just 100. Anticipating a cool down starting tomorrow. Only 89 F.

It is the hottest month most of the time, but it started off so nice and being comfortable with fans running in the windows... so it's showing off now

Good to hear that your evil heat will be less now. We could have shared some of the rain we got last night with you. We got quite a bit that lasted several minutes. We have also been enjoying cooler weather this past week. It has been about 10-15 degrees cooler. Nice break. I hope you get one soon.

Last evening you could feel the humidity break and then next thing it's storming..it feels good today..no ac or windows open, just a fan running.

It is a little cooler this week on the east coast. I feel for you . I used to live in the midwest and plan on moving back soon enough so I know I will be feeling the heat again soon enough
