Made it home! And had Arby's three times!

I left Montana yesterday afternoon at about 5 PM and made it home tonight at 11 PM. I napped a couple of times, in Montana and Idaho, last night. At least I think it was Montana and Idaho. I could have said "somewhere on I-15 South for both.
It was a productive and enjoyable trip, but I admit to having been a bit lonely at times. So many of the people we knew up there over the years have passed on. I didn't write about it before I left, but Bob Sledd, a family friend and one of the best storytellers "in the meadow" (where we would drink beer and talk about life over the decades) passed on right before I left.
I got all of the mining claim stuff done, and got both the fence/gate and the bridge back up to speed. I have my cell phone next to my computer and will "develop" some of the pictures I took tomorrow morning.
I'll see if I can add one of my Montana "file photos" to this post before I sleep. Oh yeah! We don't have Arby's here in the Bay Area. I scarfed at Arby's three times while on the road> I love Horsey Sauce, and not because they named it after me. .
OK. My day is done. Doesn't my woodpile look relaxing? That's from 2021.

@TheHorse I'm doing fine, thanks. I always missed sleeping in my own bed when we went on vacations.

@DaddyEvil It's odd. I like sleeping on couches. But yep, I am always glad to get home to my own bed.

I thought you might stay a little longer in Montana, but I guess you have things to do. I am sorry to hear about your friend. Losing good people just sucks.
As a kid, I hated Arby’s, but since everyone else loved them, we’d go anyway. As an adult, they’re pretty darn good!

@TheHorse Above me is the owner. I started communications with him Aug 2nd. I've nudged him a few times but it's in his hands. I assume he is also @myLotBugs so I couldn't say what else to do but wait.
A few people still seem to get them to work occasionally but...

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. I am glad you have good memories of him. Also, it's great that you had a safe trip, but I bet you are truly tired after all the work and all the driving!
Sometime, I do hope the woodpile picture as well as all others we are waiting to see from everyone here, shows up.
