Pisang Seribu or Thousand Finger Banana / myLot

I have a banana collection and one of it is the thousand fingers variety. This is from one of my mother plant and the fruit is nearing to maturity now. Have anyone of you tried eating this kind of banana? What kind of banana is common to your place?

I was born and grew up in the Philippines, but I haven't heard of this variant. I just know the usual ones, like latundan, lakatan, saba. What's it like?
