A sad anniversary

4 years ago today my divorce was finalized. I can't believe it has been so long. It was not my choice but the whole process went as amicably and smoothly as possible. No one screwed the other over either during our marriage or during the separation process. It was like the most friendly divorce in the world. LoL always says he doesn't understand why we got divorced and I tend to agree with him. We are still on good terms and we still love each other. I know if I need help with something that he would be here as soon as he could. I still get emotional thinking about it. Like there are tears leaking out of my eyes as I type this. I don't know if I'll ever get past it. I've loved him for 20 years which is about half of my life. I'm just glad that we can still talk and laugh together when he visits. That connection between us is still there.
