First Day of School

So my kids are at school. Officially in grades 6 (last of elementary school), 5, and 3.
My youngest got the teachers I was hoping he would get. My middle one had both in grade 3 and one even taught my eldest in kindergarten. Really good teachers. I liked them as did they.
My middle has one of the teachers she wanted. She had her last year. So that's good.
I'm not sure about my eldest's teachers, as I haven't met them or heard anything about them. So we'll see what my eldest says.
Feeling a bit emotional, but I know that they're in good hands and will be okay.

I do not miss my school day or my son's school days, but I do miss when he was that young. He's 28 now. I hope your kids enjoy their classes, teachers, classmates, and do well this year as well.

@dodo19 Yesterday, Ryan sent me a Tiktok made by a woman showing a craft she made. Toward the end of her TikTok, you can hear a teenager holler out, and her apologize to her viewers, explaining that it's her son, playing a video game. Ryan sent that to me because 14 years ago, that woman and boy could have been us.

That first day of school is always hard. It's great that your kids got teachers they really like and I'm sure they'll have a good school year. Will you have a chance to meet your eldests teachers?

The kids in most areas of the UK go back to school early in September, so.maybe next week. I don't know exactly. It's been years since I went to school and I don't have kids of my own.

I hope your children will enjoy the new semester. Today it is supposed to be the first day for the children to go to school, too. However, due to the coming super typhoon Saola, the schools are close. The new semester will be delayed to September 4th. I have to say it may be a good news for most of the children here

Time marches on. My cousin's wife posted pics of two of her three kids. I think the oldest refused to have his pic taken. He is probably in 5th or 6th grade this year.

Glad that the middle child has one of the teachers she liked. She is happy, that is for sure.
