"Put Up A Sign"

In our current living situation, my husband and I will have to share a home office space. I will end up using it more, unless of course I was scheduled to travel for work on a week. During his rest days, he is more likely to use it, and these days will fall on days that I am working.
Sharing the space is fine - we both have our own desk area. He has his own chair, monitors, computer, etc. The issue is his office use will be more for 3D printing. He does this as a side gig and a hobby. When he was commissioned to print something, the printer will be going for hours depending on the design, size, and quantity. That will be an issue since the printer, while it is not too loud, is audible enough to be distracting especially during video calls and meetings.
Another problem that he sees is that when I have the door closed and he needs to grab something quick, he does not know if I can be disturbed or not. He jokingly said that maybe I should make those "Do Not Disturb" door signs.
I chuckled because I already have those. My former assistant made me some door signs for me to hang outside my office door to let everyone know if I am available or not. She had them laminated and printed with superheroes and dogs. Because according to her, we work in healthcare and we're all heroes, and dogs always bring a smile to everyone (such a sweetie!).
This is the line-up of my office door signs:
Do Not Disturb! Meeting in Progress! - dogs sitting on a round table
Gone to a Meeting - Black Panther
Working From Home - a german shepherd with sunglasses, in front of a laptop
Shhh! I'm on a conference call! - Deadpool shushing someone
Out of the Office - Batman on top of a building
Come on in! I'm just Working! - Deadpool on a swan floatie on a pool
Out and About - Thor
Home for the day - a labrador with Thor's hammer, with a caption "Hi, my name is Labrathor!
Gone to Lunch! Be Back in a Flash! - The Flash
I showed these to my husband and he agreed that these will work.

my suggestions would be
1. set up your workspace where it's quietest, while his is nearer the door. or you can also put up some sort of folding or removal dividers.
2. for the ongoing meetings and conference calls, it would help to add estimated start and end time so he can work around that.
