Do you use cut/copy and paste a lot?

Sometimes, on MyLot, I will copy a part of what someone wrote and put it at the bottom of my response. Sometimes threads get long here, and I think my strategy might make it easier for other commenters to know what I'm responding to.
I realized as I was doing the copy and paste thing just now that it's something that comes pretty naturally to me. I don't have to think about it when I'm doing it. Muscle memory, coded in the cerebellum of my brain, and all that.
I use copy and paste when I print out my Guitar Center student schedule, when I'm writing documents, invoices, etc, and when I'm writing a book chapter.
Do you use cut/copy and paste a lot? It occurred to me as I was doing it this morning that it might not be such a "habit" for everyone.

@LeaPea2417 I hadn't realized how "automatic" it (cutting and pasting) is for me until I was doing it this morning.

As a blind person, it can be hit-or miss. Particularly when it comes to selecting what you want to copy or paste. However, I am very familiar with the standard commands, and use them on occasion. Most of the time, I don't do. When I was on a message board, I would have sighted friends do it for me if I needed something copped or edited.

@TheHorse I'll admit, it's easier to do in a document editor, like word. Harder to do on a webpage.

In IT analysis, coding and problem solution finding; all part of my work, Cut and Copy/Paste become essential at times
Here I sometimes prepare some content on Notepad or text editor and then cooy paste longer responses or comments from there.
Anyways have a great day !!

Copy/paste is a nice feature to have. I do that often. And it's nice that we have the keyboard shortcuts for it.

@TheHorse Yes. CTRL C for copy. CTRL V for paste.

I use it a lot too. It's so easy and functional. I still remember when a coworker showed me how to use it.

No, I rarely use copy/paste. When I do bother, it's so you don't get lost in a good conversation.

@DaddyEvil I am sure I do more writing here than anywhere else. But I'm getting going on my book. I was reading one of Mark Twain's biographies today. He he times when he had writer's block as well. Some think he may have been bi-polar.

I use this all the time. I always write up articles first and save them to folders and then I copy and paste what I have written to the sites where I post things like Vocal Media. Since I just write about what is current to me on myLot I write this up before hand then copy and paste here but I do not save that.

@TheHorse I use my smartphone for everything these days instead of my laptop and so don't copy paste much. Opening too many tabs makes the phone slow.

I use copy and paste when I do my blog posts. I post on there the same thing I post on here. I also used copy and paste last night when I did my Christmas list.
