My favorite sailor crossed the Panama channel last night. Dixie made lots of pictures of the Alcón. There were 2 I liked best. I don´t know if they can be turned into photos to hang on a wall. One was the tiny Alción alone in the channel and another was the Alción with a giant ship in its rear. They will have to stay around 3 days in an island in the Pacific part of Panama to do some administrative paperwork. My life is easier. While Dixie is away going to see her ill people I will have ready the turkey thigh I brought with me. I´ll roast it in a bed of coarsely diced onions and apples and with onion and apple wedges in the inside. I´ll only marinate it with salt, pepper and dry white wine. The slow roasting will do the rest. Carla (Dixie´s second daughter) is coming for dinner with her youngest son. I just put some Diclofenac on my aching legs and will wait a bit before taking a shower. Now I´ll go to my notifications. See you.
