After weeks of waiting and countless requirements Andrea and I finally have some good news. Our mortgage broker said Santander finally approved our mortgage. We will be receiving paperworks from them through the post.
I hope this would fast track our move to our future home as I do not want to pay Rosie any more rent. I feel like God has answered my prayers.

@flapiz I have no idea how long it would take to move into a new home since my relatives do the searching for another home to live in when my relatives have to move out due to new owners wanting to rebuild a house.

@DaddyEvil Yeah I feel very much taken advantage of with not much choice. I am not telling her until the day I have to move out.

@flapiz I don't blame you. I think she's cheating you.

That's great that you now have your mortgage approved. Do you have a house yet? I'm guessing not. Our son in Ireland has found a house and they are pleased with it. They say it is very nice - warm and dry. You would never say a house in Australia was 'dry' but of course our climate is vastly different to Ireland's. lol

Awesome, what great news! I still remember your last post on how she would totally take advantage of your contract-free living situation with her property. Now I cannot wait for your next update on how you she reacts after telling her you'll no longer be renting from her. I wish she tries how you need to give her more notice. That sounds evil, but I don't think she also realizes how bad of a landlady she is.

I am a first time home buyer so I don't know how long it takes from now before I can move in.
