6 September - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a wonderful day. I have a few things to be thankful for among the many blessings God gives me every day.
I'm thankful for a good night's sleep. I got over eight hours.
I'm thankful for the exercise class this morning. I went down early and had twenty minutes on the bike before the others showed up. They worked out to the shorter tape today. I did my personal best on the bike putting out ten miles in 44:39. It was a great workout.
I'm thankful for rock painting at the ADRC. I finished a rock today. My friend will podge it next week and I'll bring it home in two weeks. I won't be there next week.
I was super excited about the surprise from Amazon when I got home today. I ordered books for the book signing at the end of the month on Monday. The site said I would receive those books on the 13th. I got them today. I've never gotten a book order in such a short time.
I'm thankful I could talk to my sister today. I wanted to know if she would be home on the weekend of the book signing. She will. I need her help to get to the place where the book signing will be. She can and will help, for which I'm very thankful.
I'm thankful for my friend who proofreads my books. She was at the ADRC when I got there. I gave her my manuscript and the lightbulb full of paper clips. She said two or three weeks before I get it back. She also told me she just finished reading Scarred. She couldn't put it down. She couldn't crochet and didn't get a lot of sleep. She loved it.

Sounds like you had a productive day. I'm thankful I found the modem for my old AT&T unit. I want to cancel my home internet and I know they're going to want that stuff back. So I'm glad we found it because I didn't want to pay them any more money then I had to.

@just4him Right now I have home internet from both Spectrum and AT&T. I am going to get rid of AT&T, and keep Spectrum.

@kaylachan If you cancel your home Internet, how will how get online? Will you get a different Internet program?

I am thankful that my eye exam was good this morning as well as the ability to get a free ride to and from the eye clinic thanks to the assistance of the insurance company to fond a taxi driver who was able to take me to and from the eye clinic safe and sound.

It sounds like things are moving so well, and that’s awesome!
Valerie, please pray this thing with my doctor will be resolved soon. I’m getting discouraged as he forgot to call in my prescription for the 2nd day in a row. Please pray he’ll call it in tomorrow.
I AM thankful I have made payout today on another website. I’m just going to think about the good stuff right now.

Thanks for sharing what you've thankful. I am. thankful I accomplished my tasks for online teaching this day with happiness with my students. I am also thankful for the good sleep and nice food at home, my favorite deep fried chicken liver with a hot sauce
