The fate of my neighbor's son

My neigbor erected their home beside our fence but it's their space. It's just a small house good for the three of them husband , wife and young son. Their son was in Grade 6 that time and one-day the son decided to wait his mom in the boulevard facing the sea and that time it was high tide. The boy sat on a bench looking calmly at the vast ocean. But all of a sudden group of bullies arrived and one of them pushed the boy and the helpless shouted for help for he didn't know how to swim while those culprits ran away leaving the boy drowned.
People gathered but too late to save him. One swimmer dived to save the boy but it was too late.He laid lifeless. When his mom arrived to the scene she shouted aloud and then she collapsed. She had a heart attack and died too instantly. That's so tragic and everyone around cried.
But so sad for 5 years now there's no justice for the murderer is son of the chief of police . The suspect that time was 4th year high-school and now he's in college graduating. We're hoping he'll rot in hell.
The husband mourned until today and he never came back to their home. He left his place. It's sickening I always see their home and the windows are still open. I could always imagine the boy smiling at me . JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED!

@RebeccasFarm, We live near the sea and showed you here about those photos when I had a jog. It is just a walking distance. At the end of the edge is where the by sat. His school was situated near the church overlooking the sea.

That is heartbreaking. So, the murderer was not arrested because he is the son of the chief of police? Incredible!

@Beestring, yes, because at that time the criminal was below 18 years old, a minor and our law states that no age below 18 to be arrested. The criminal must reach the age of 18 before facing his verdict. But the suspect is now I think 20 years old and enjoying his freedom. If the after was paid for his silence, then people have nothing to do.

This is one of the saddest things, I've ever heard. May justice find them.

@popciclecold , it seems justice is only for the rich, the poor need money for a lawyer. We are hoping here someone will help the after to bring justice to the fate of his son and his wife,

@moirai , yes, the father sued the son of the policeman but at that time the boy was a minor and under our law, a criminal below 18 must wait for the right age the criminal to be investigated or jailed but he must be sent to the DSWD, but we are wondering why the suspect was not sent there, perhaps someone has helped them under the table. The father should have sought former President Duterte to bring the case to light but we no longer saw the father of the boy for almost 2 years now. We are worried about his whereabout.

@TheHorse, the poor father was helpless. He was only working as a laborer but despite that, he is entitled to due process. Until this time, the criminal is living happily. May his conscience bother him and bring his feet to jail.

@florelway , you might be very busy with your job in the town hall. It aired on Bombo Radio and TV 5 but it was a matter of two days news. It was published in the local newspaper.
