Our former house helper is here today selling some dragon fruit. I can't remember if I have tasted a dragon fruit before.
It's name is perfect for its appearance because it looks a scary fruit.
I love almost all fruits except for dragon fruit.
Do you like dragon fruits? What do it taste like?

Yes, I like dragon fruit but it's expensive here so I don't buy it often. If it's ripe, it tastes a little like kiwi and pear mix but isn't very sweet. It has a consistency of kiwi.

I don't eat often kiwi and pear. So I think it is juicy and a little sour

Yes, I like it. Especially the red variety, not the white... I think it tastes a little bit like kiwi fruit with its little seeds.

@averygirl72 Oh okay... I usually buy some when it is in season. It is a bit cheap in my province. You can get it for only 100 to 120 per kilo. And with its health benefits, it is worth a try... =)

@averygirl72 I prefer kiwi as they taste more than dragon fruit. But the flesh of the dragon fruit is more than the kiwi.
