Wednesday Morning Brief

See, I'm getting this posted before I leave for the day. 
Good morning from sunny, warm, Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. We're expecting temps in the 80s today and tomorrow. It's already warm out there at 70 F according to my computer.
It's been a different and busy morning already. I was up early, starving at 3 AM. Not happy about that, but the scale was okay, so I'm good. It's been seven hours since I ate, so I'm eating lunch at 10 a.m.
So far this morning, I did the Bible study, played my games, went to the exercise class, and got a new tire on my car. Oh, I also had a nap at 5:30.
I also called my son to find out if he could give me an Uber drive on Friday to my sister's. We'll see. I might change my mind now that I have a new tire on the car and it's in good shape with an oil change.
As for plans for the rest of the day, I have rock painting and will be leaving for that when I finish eating and post this. When I get home, I plan to get the notifications caught up and work on Ecstasy. There's also prayer tonight, so it will be interesting to see how much I get done today.

@just4him If you feel safer not using your car, call your son.
I am going to make a Moroccan dinner, Zaalouk ( Moroccan salad of cooked eggplants and tomatoes with herbs and spices) and koeftas ( Moroccan kebab made with ground lamb and the same spices used for the salad).

Busy day for you as usual. My day is going fine other than the sock incident. I finished my report from the mystery shop a few minutes ago, and also did a small focus group. This one should have paid more than it did, but it was interesting, and I didn't mind it. Going out to do some steps here in a bit after I finish lunch.

Your day sounds like it's chock full of busy.
I have laundry going and just the basic things need to get done Then I'm going to plop myself in front of the tv and watch the new series I started on Netflix (Queen Charloette from the Bridgerton series).

I started that one a while ago. I only saw the first episode. It looks good. I enjoyed Bridgerton. So, it should be good.

How far is your sister from you? With a new tire and oil change perhaps you could drive yourself. I haven't ever needed to use Uber.
My morning has been typical for a Wednesday, went to the grocery store, came home had some breakfast. Maybe a nap before church this evening. It's nice here too, overcast highs in the low 80s.

My son is an Uber driver. Yes, the car is ready, but the highway has started scaring me. Traffic is so fast, and I have a small car. Maybe it's my age. Anyway, my son didn't bat an eyelash. He's taking me. Since he's an Uber driver, I'm paying him. If he wasn't an Uber driver, I'm sure he would take me.

@just4him That's great he is an uber driver. Does he do this as a side job or his regular job? We don't have too many uber drivers here in our small community, at least I haven't seen any. I have in a bigger city next to us a couple years back, so I know they can be found around here.
