Life Is Back To Normal

Happy Tuesday Everyone! another rainy day here in my little corner of the myLot world. It's also gotten chilly especially overnight which makes for much better sleeping.
My daughter is back to work today after her cruise to Bermuda. She had a wonderful time and didn't experience any bad weather. How lucky that they were able to enjoy sunshine and warm weather while we were dealing with that tropical storm.
Tonight my oldest daughter is coming over for a girls night and we're going to see pictures of the cruise, etc. My daughter is able to bring the pictures up on the tv which is so much better than trying to see them all on her cell phone. I've already had a preview and it makes me want to take a cruise to Bermuda.
Other than that nothing else exciting happening here today. Just the usual things to do around the house.
It's so nice to have my daughter home and other than having someone to talk to it's nice to have the coffee waiting when I get up in the morning

Glad everything is right in your world. I went to Bermuda once in Sept. I have to say I really didn't care for it, but as long as she enjoyed it, is all that matters...

@Marilynda1225 It was just so humid when I was there, and the water was cold. Plus everything was expensive. I am sure some must like it though. As for me, I have no desire to go back. Too many other places, I like or havent been to.

@snowy22315 I would love to cruise there as there's just so much to do on the ship whereas Bermuda itself is beautiful but not much to do.

I'm glad that your daughter had a great trip. Yes, seeing pictures on TV is much better than on cell phone. Enjoy the girl's night.

I am surest feels good to have things back to normal. I'm glad your daughter enjoyed her trip and avoided the tropical storm. Cooler temps at night are welcome, even in my corner of the world.

I'm happy they had a wonderful time and didn't encounter any bad weather. I wouldn't want to be on a cruise ship if the seas were very rough

There really isn't a lot to do in Bermuda so just a few days is all you need.

@Marilynda1225 Except the very large Islands (like Puerto Rico), there is very little to do on the Islands. After a few days you are bored.

@LadyDuck I think that's why a cruise is nice. You're only docked for two days and you really don't need more than that in Bermuda. Some day I would love to cruise either to Bermuda or the Bahamas.

Viewing the pictures sounds like fun. I'll bet Bermuda has changed a lot since I was there in 1966 and 1970. Have a good day.

I haven't been there since around 1968 and it's really built up more for the large cruise ships to dock.

@LindaOHio I think Bermuda has a booming tourist business especially from the cruise ships. I can't say this with certainly but I'm sure their economy relies partly on the tourists

@Marilynda1225 There were no cruise ships when we were there. That must really overrun the island when a ship comes in!!

I would love to go on a cruise someday. I' probably more like your dad and am a homebody. I never was one who wanted to travel and see as many places as possible. I hope they enjoy their cruise to Hawaii.

It sounds like a cozy and eventful day for you. I'm glad to hear that your daughter had a fantastic cruise to Bermuda, especially with the lovely weather. A girls' night with pictures from the trip on the TV sounds like a great way to relive those memories together. Cruises to Bermuda do seem tempting after such a preview, don't they? And having your daughter back at home, making mornings easier with coffee, is definitely a warm and comforting feeling. Enjoy your evening, and I hope the rain doesn't dampen your spirits too much! ?????
