Anita arrived late today but full of gifts. She brought me cheese, 2 eggs from free hens, an empanada made by herself and bread. So I could only tell her to hurry because I was hungry. I just ate the empanada for dinner. It was delicious. I also ate the cheese although it was a big amount. I´m saving the eggs for tomorrow. The shell is blueish as the hens are from another kind. We washed 2 loads of clothes. I wanted to take advantage of the sun and all the garments got dry. Juanita, the washing machine, did her work but I hand washed some clothes too. Mario came and made big holes in the garden as no water reached some parts of the garden. He found out that part of the plastic pipes had been destroyed by huge roots of ancient trees that were here when we bought the land. He will fix that next week. I already told him that I would not pay for it this month as I had to pay some land taxes. Anita heated the food I had made and I added creamed spinach. It was delicious! And for starters we made a sort of coleslaw. She cut up the veggies and I made the dressing. And I told her to shredd more to have here and to give to Mario. Last but not least, I bought some groceries online. I have now a whole chicken to eat with Daniel on Friday. He is coming to see me then. Now I´m relaxing in bed.
