I just went to clean the chicken, take out part of the fat and marinate it. Ibrused it for the first time in my life with a silicone kitchen brush that Dixie gave me yesterday. Funny! We are always exchanging things (old and new) as sisters do yet I don´t do that with my own siblings. Today I found that all my everyday knives were put away with the "company" knives. I also found a tray inside the dishwasher. I know I did not put it there because it is not made of the sort of material that I wash in the dishwasher. And there was almost no sugar in the glass. The rest of the sugar was hidden behind cans. I did find though that I had done some things wrong too. I discovered that I had bought an imported sugar because it was cents cheaper than the national one. I think that we should prefer our home produce, if possible. I bought a pineapple 2 weeks ago and it passed quickly from being very unripe to too ripe. So now I´m cooking it for use as juice. The next time, I will either buy a pineapple myself instead of asking a shopper or I´ll go without one. See you later, friends. The kitchen is calling me.

But they are wonderful. Before this i greased all my hand plus a paper towel AND a knife. I felt like a chef using that today. And they are very inexpensive.

@marguicha Yes they are surely awesome..I still have mine. Before that I did the best I could or had a bristle brush..so hard to clean.

That pineapple “situation” is disappointing.

Still I turned it into pineapple juice. I boiled it with water and then added sugar.

We try to buy Australian-made/grown/produced products too but they are often dearer. It's doesn't make sense but it is what it is.

I'm sorry things are put away in the wrong places. Have a great weekend.
