Pay checks

My first big paycheck o9f the year at school will be here next week. I should get a notice of how much this weekend. It will have five weeks on it.
We plan to get new front tires for the van with it.
School only pays once a month, but the checks often are substantial.
On the home front, I took that nap, and have had a snack. I have some good mental energy this morning so I shall get busy with some outdoor stuff this morning and indoor this afternoon, since we are still having summer like weather.
I know that winter will be here before we know it though.

I did not do all I wanted outside. Was waiting on Bob to help me start the mower. Both of them are being difficult. I did water everything out front. I still have plants that need places inside for the winter.

@GardenGerty Most of what I am watering outside is my house plants now. I will be starting to bring them back in soon. My dahlias will not be dug up until after the first frost. Then I will be done

Payday is always a good day. Winter is right around the corner. The days are getting so short. Not looking forward to winter this year...or any year! Have a good weekend.

@GardenGerty About 38 days I think. It's going to be 86 on Wednesday and ***56*** on Saturday!!! November 5 is clock-changing day.

We each also get a Social Security check, and that will cover a lot of the bills, but the extras have to come out of my school earnings. They all come different weeks so that is nice.

I would like to have more to spread out among people in business, like the tire shop, local stores. Yes I would like some to stash for an emergency.

Yes, they do. Our Social Security covers the regular bills, but extras like property tax we have to plan for.
