Last night was really cool

Dale and I went out to the shack in the back yard last night about 7pm. Just talked (after 57 years, it's a wonder we have anything left to talk about!), but we enjoy our quiet peaceful times like that. And we just talk about everything.
Dale made a fire in the fire pit which was cozy. The night was a little cool and we heard some owls looking for a date, I think. We miss cooking hot dogs in the flames, but those are in the past. Too much gluten and hard to digest.
Around 9:30 a beautiful almost full moon came up over the tree tops. It made the yard look like daylight, so bright, really lovely.
We came in about 10:30 for a light snack. But it wasn't hot dogs.

@1creekgirl Are you able to have gluten free hot dogs?

@much2say The actual hot dogs don't have gluten, but the buns do.

We have a fire pit in the back yard but have never started a fire in it. I'm glad you and Dale had a nice evening.

@1creekgirl We moved here on November 1st, almost 5 years ago... It was snowy and Pretty doesn't do well in the cold. Before Winter was over, the grandkids of the next-door-neighbors had destroyed our picnic table and I refused to buy more outdoor furniture. So no place to sit and enjoy an outdoor fire.

Is there a particular reason for no fire? We don't cook hot dogs now, but just looking into the flames is so peaceful.

@1creekgirl It is amazing, but this is so much important. I broke with my previous boyfriend when I realized that after a short time we had nothing to talk about together.

I don't think there's gluten in the hot dog, just the bun.

@1creekgirl It's not as bad. I'm hoping I can hold off surgery until the spring. Thanks for asking!

We really enjoy sitting out there. It's screened in so no insects to bother us.

It was very nice. We do that a lot except in the middle of winter.
