Now They Want to Do an Ultrasound

I have my annual visit with my breast cancer surgeon tomorrow. It is coming on the heels of my mammogram and then the callback mammogram. So that's a good thing, except I just got an email that my breast cancer surgeon wants to do an ultrasound on my right breast just to make sure everything is okay.
Sigh.
I guess it's the right thing to do, just to be sure, but I was just so happy and thought I was clear until next year's ultrasound.
Prayers are again appreciated... if you are a praying person. I will let you know what I find out tomorrow.

I will..he is probably being over cautious though,and doesn't want to get sued. I think you are probably fine, and it probably won't hurt to get one. I can very much understand your anxiety though.

Yes, anxiety is something I don't deal with very well. And in this case, it's better to be cautious. I am okay though. Everything turned out fine thankfully.

I am sure you are more than aprehensive over the ultrasound, try to hang in there and think positively. I know, that's easier said than done...but the doctor is being proactive, I think. Prayers being said....sorry you have to go through this.

Yes, I know. This took the wind out of my sails a bit when they said they wanted to do something else to check it. But it all turned out okay and I am fine.

Very true, and especially when it comes to cancer. But it turned out fine so I am okay for another year at least.
