The Grand Sporting Event : Cricket World Cup 2023 begins!

So yesterday, 5th of October 2023, began the Mega and the Grand Sports Event.
This is the Cricket ODI World Cup 2023.
A total of 10 teams and 48 matches between 5th October and 19th November.
Defending champions England faced New Zealand in the opening match.
Despite a good 282 runs, England lost by 9 wickets owing to excellent batting by Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway.

I have seen that upsets and close matches are lesser in Football (Soccer).

It could be a tough match. Quinton De Kock, allrounders and bowlers like Ranada, Ngidi and Marco Jansen would pose a big challenge to the English team.
