Time to Wash The Floor

Gosh, I am a procrastinator! I want to ease into retirement so I took today off to have lunch with Hubby and a friend.
The lunch got canceled so I find myself with a free day at home to "catch up". It's 11:00 am and I have had breakfast but nothing is done! I posted two hours ago on my House Work "support group" that I was going to wash the floor.
My house is to the point, I want to hire someone to put it in order. But then I would have to work more!
Okay, time to Wash the LR floor. That will feel better.

40 minutes later it's washed, coffee break and admire my clean floor

I should join the housework support group...It is always the last thing to get done, and you can tell.

Just about every room in my house needs a good mopping. Our floors are uneven so that makes the chore fun. I'm glad you managed to do something productive with your free time.

@spiderdust Yes, there was old carpet here when we bought it. It was nice to get rid of it. Still have it in the spare bedroom though.

@paigea I've always preferred hard surface floors as opposed to carpeting. It's so much easier to clean the hard surface.

We have a set routine. I get the floor swept twice a week and swabbed once a week.

Good job. I need to wash my kitchen floor and I want to wash my back steps too.
