Oh boy. This should be fun. The kitchen is on the interior side of the apartment so whatever natural light that is still out there is not reaching it. I have 2 Yankee Candles burning so I can sort of see what I'm doing. I don't have a flashlight. So far I've managed to not burn the garlic. We shall see how I do with not overcooking the shrimp. This is bringing me back to the Superstorm Sandy days.

We have an electric cooktop; but now with the generator, we will be able to cook when the power goes out. Before that my husband would try all these makeshift ways to cook. Have a good weekend.
