Not going shopping down town today.

I overslept by an hour today! But that's not the reason I'm not going shopping today. Neither is it the fact that it's Friday 13th! I'm not going shopping today because of the weather. It was very dull and pouring it down with rain this morning, so I decided not to go shopping. My Mum had wanted to go to the bank too, but she decided not to go out either.
Instead we're staying in and watching the telly! I'm currently watching Homes Under the Hammer. 
But now the sun is coming out again, and my Mum said, Oh, that's typical now that we've decided not to go out! 
I finished my painting last night, and my Mum came into the dining room to have a look at it. She said it was beautiful! I will hopefully take a picture of it later and add it to my previous post.
What are you lot getting up to today?

Oh, no! I know what that feels like! Our neighbour recently had a loft conversion which made a lot of noise, but to be fair to them, they did warn us before hand that it was going to happen.

We went grocery shopping and then came home put it all away and then relaxed the rest of the night. Sorry you missed going shopping even if it was Friday the 13th

@sharonelton Yeah if the weather was nasty I can’t blame you for not wanting to go out in it. Yeah we got everything we needed and I did enjoy the rest of my evening

Yes, same here. It was only sunny for a short while here today, and then it came down worse. It is supposed to be sunny tomorrow according to my weather app. My painting is up now. I hope you have a good weekend too.

No, I stayed in today because of the weather. I just watched telly, did some Mylotting and got my lunch. I took a picture of my painting and added it to my previous post and I did some reading. Then I got my dinner, then watched more telly, did some washing up, and watched some more telly!!

Well, its still early here, just finished breakfast and cleaning the sink. It looks nice now. I would like to put something on it to make it shine. That will be an incentive for me to keep it clean.

It rained nearly all day today. That bit of sun we had mid morning was just lulling us into a false sense of security. It came down even worse than before after that!

Thank you very much. It seems to have gone dull again here, but I don't know if it's raining. I know we need the rain but I don't like it when it happens!

It started off warm where I am, and my weather app said it would be sunny all day. But about mid afternoon it came down in buckets! It cleared up afterwards for a while, but then went dull again later on.
