I had one folded up on the easy chair in the bedroom and used it one night,, and it did not work...curses foiled again, I thought..anyway, I found the one that does work packed away in a box. So now I am happy, it was toasty and wonderful last night..and Nico likes it too. I will make good use of that blanket this year. What have you found recently, that you thought you did not have?

There is a ton of stuff in my storage space. I bet if I went up there and unloaded it, I could have a major yard sale...or sell them piecemeal online and make more money.

@LadyDuck The things in mine are mostly just taking up space..but some belong to my ex..I wouldn't want to do anything with them.

If it never gets cold, you would not.

@Sojourn Well, it might not be worth it for the few cold days you get.

Lucky you finding a working electric blanket. Now you and Nico can be all comfy and warm at night.
I don't think I've found anything recently that I was surprised to find.

I was pretty sure I had one that worked, but I thought it was the one in the chair.

Ceiling fans are great and can really cut down on the cooling bill. I sleep under mine in the summer

Friends: I have lived here for two and half years but only had neighbors (some friendly, some not) until this past summer. Since joining the village's seniors' group, I have finally found my peeps.

I'm glad you found your electric blanket. I'm sorry the other one no longer works.

Whenever I go through boxes to sort out what to keep and what to donate, I always find something I forgot we had. Glad you found your electric blanket. Have a good weekend.

I discovered a shirt the other day while decluttering. I completely forgot about it. It's a nice shirt, and I plan to wear it tomorrow.

Maybe Santa will bring you one for Christmas. They are perfect for cold nights and energy saving as well. As long as you are warm and cozy why have other heating devices on? However, if it is frigid, of course you need something else as well.
