Angelo Castelino who lives in Stanwood Washington state with his wife Shelley was given some good news on Sunday October 1 when his missing cat named Butters who was living with his owners in San Diego California in 2011 when the cat went missing from the home. Thanks to the efforts of Riverside County Animal Control Officer Dalton Churchwell who saw the missing cat in his backyard in Blythe California on Sunday, Dalton took the cat to the animal shelter where he is employed to have the cat scanned and identified since Butters had a microchip on him. When the owners of Butters were contacted by the animal control officers that their missing cat was found safe and sound, the ASK Foundation found out about the cat being located by Officer Churchwell, they made arrangements for Butters to return from Southern California o\to Seattle Washington via airplane to reunite Butters with his owners. Butters was reunited with his owners on Saturday October 7. Link is upi.com/8951697044180

That is likely true since my cats when they have to get inside a cage to visit the veterinarian, they do not like being placed inside the cage at all.

I wonder how the cat got so far away. I saw that story on the news. It was good that the cat got back to his owner.

The same thinking is what the owners of Butters want to know if he could speak to them.

What a shame that it took 12 years to be reunited, especially since the cat had been microchipped. I hope the cat didn't have a tough time of it through all those years.

I hope so as well that Butters had a good home before he did come home to his owner after 12 years apart.
