Have You Ever Seen a Ghost?

Why do you like scary movies? I don't like them at all but a lot of people do and I never understand why. What did the hotel ghost do?

@akalinus I like ghost movies mostly for the simple fact that I am interested in the other side of life and the supernatural..it is interesting and fine with me. Now I do not like slasher bloody horror that is for the birds. The ghost stood at the end of my bed with a sort of a hat and long coat on..sort of like the 40s say..and there was a sky window with the moon shining in. He vanished when I woke to see him.

@RebeccasFarm Wow, that is intense. I sometimes see people who are not there. It is just a movement that flashes in the corner of my eyes for a split second and vanishes. Was that ghost you saw scary?

I have not gotten any trick-or-treaters for years. I usually buy a small bag of candy just in case. In 20 years, I had one. A woman brought her grandchildren over and I had plenty of treats for them. I have the lights off and no Halloween decorations.

@LindaOHio I don't like Halloween except for the candy. I can buy a bag and eat it when I want. I have no lights or decorations, nothing to attract kids or other people.

@akalinus We don't put the lights on either. Our houses are far apart. The kids go to the developments to trick or treat.

@akalinus Everyone is different it all depends on how open you are. Empathic is draining since I feel others' emotions especially those I'm close to. I am not saying that I can't feel spiritual energy because I can just not feel the same as some people. Like I said it's something you have to wait to practice. I know enough to not be invited so spirits will not really approach me if they are strong until I'm asleep that is when everyone is vulnerable that is why My husband is my anchor. In my sleep, I can feel them more and if something wants in it's usually dark and I can kick them out. demons like those that are weak but I'm not weak. Lately, I've heard of kid voices and I know there is none in this house so I ignore it even if it sounds like my kids. The spooky season tends to kick up energies. Especially lately with the planets.

How do they make themselves known? How do you know about the house ghost? We used to hear walking up in the attic. My husband would go up and check but never saw anything. There were used dishes up there. It was so weird.

@ShyBear88 I am the opposite of you. I feel spiritual energy intensely. I know when something evil is near me and rebuke it immediately. Once, I was asleep and someone grabbed my shoulder. I woke up immediately and searched the house but no one was there.

@akalinus The ghost did not touch me, I almost touched the ghost, I stopped when I noticed my husband coming through the door.

Wow, that must have been eerie and strange. The ghost did not touch you, did it? I would be terrified.

That is sensible of you. I wonder why some people see things that are not there and others never do.

@JudyEv The most I see is something out of the corner of my eye that disappears quickly.

@akalinus I guess it's a 'gift' or a trait that some have and others don't.

That is an eerie thing to see. Did it have a form like a person, animal, bird, or something else? If you see it again, can you get a video and share it with us?

@akalinus I look for it and it is all in white whatever it is and it is not close enough for a video. I see it from my porch and it is across the street. It has no form. It is all in white whatever it is.

I hear you. I believe there are entities present because I have felt them at times. Once, I was in church. I got there late and sat in an empty row. Someone came and sat next to me. When I looked, no one was there.

@sallypup There is a thing about dimes. I would find them everywhere. I could be walking. I look down and find one. Sometimes, I found several in a day. I have not found any lately.

@akalinus You were in a sacred place so no harm would come to you. Not all spirits are nasty, of course. I believe visitors can also be from the animals also. My dearly loved Sonny James kitty passed on last year. Dimes appeared all over the house and property and from time to time, off the property.
