No, seriously. Do you have a system to stay on top of things at MyLot?

I wrote/asked something about this years ago, but it's 2023 and I'm asking again. Seriously, how do you all stay on top of things here?
After being gone for some years and being back on MyLot for the past two days, I feel like there's some secret that I don't know as to how to stay on top of the discussions, the follows, etc.

I'm here every day for an hour in the morning and a couple hours in the evening. I clear my notifications and then open "Most Recent Discussions" and "Respond" on any of those that interest me, whoever wrote them.
One thing I did when I first started on myLot over 9 years ago was go into "Settings" and turned off all the notifications that aren't needed to enjoy myself here. (I don't need to know if someone follows me, likes something I say or if someone comments in my box on a discussion. I do need to know if someone tags me in a discussion or comments on my discussions.)

Not every discussion can interest users here and what interests them is a question I will never know the answer of.
I first attend to my notificaitons and then go to top rated and finally write a few posts. Very rarely do I see mine at top rated.

I never saw any of my discussions in "Top Rated", either.

@allknowing That's true, but when I do post a discussion, it always got a lot of responses and I still never saw it in the "Top Rated" discussion list. *shrug* Oh, well, at least people had fun on my discussions.

I go to “Their Discussions” section, and answer every discussion of my friends that I think I can adequately answer. If I finish all of them, I go to “Recent Discussions”, and get to the discussions of people who are not on my friend list. I feel an obligation to get to those who answer my posts, so I always go to “Their Discussions” first (since “Their” is in reference to those who are listed as friends). It works well for me. I add a friend after reading a post or reply that catches my attention.
Generally, I just check in when I’m not doing anything else.

Hmm... I usually don't follow people because I will see any discussions they write when I open "Most Recent Discussions". And you may have noticed that I don't write new discussions very often, too.

@DaddyEvil I know you don’t, and you really need to get on that. (Cue stern look.)

Having friends that I follow and try to hit their discussion of course not all of them are going to interest me but I have a system. I usually check in off and on throughout the day. If I have my own discussion then I'll post usually its book stuff so maybe only other books people might want to read and participate in them. I also have to spend time reading other people's books or working on my own books for when they are going to be published.

I do exactly the same as @DaddyEvil. I spend an hour (maximum an hour and half) here in the morning to clear all my notifications and to answer the Personal Messages.
Soon after lunch I go through the Most Recent Discussions and I respond to those I find more interesting.

I always try to respond to discussions despite my busy schedule. Also, I do my best to answer all notifications.
