Clinging ivy

Ivy is an invader and efforts are made to get rid of it as it can kill plants around But in our garden I made best use of it and it clings to areas where it enhances the beauty of our garden But we also need to keep it in trim.
As you can see in the photo the photo looks great with a touch of ivy and yes we need to be alert and not let it spread over and cover the pot fully.

I have the ivy in the Wrigley Field which is the home of the Chicago Cubs.

@allknowing It was grown there since during the summer the ivy is on the wall and the spring and winter the ivy on the wall in not there.

@allknowing Not only the clinging ivy , the red big pot also looks so beautiful.
I think every 10 days it should be trimmed?

You should never wait but keep pulling out as and when it spreads. We are doing that all the time. Why don't you start the process now?

@allknowing I could be pulling that ivy all day long plus its on the trunk higher than me.
