The ID10T Problem: If you're an idiot on the Internet, who knows? Do you?

This may be in the domain of Dunning-Kruger (and Smart Asian Theory), but I had some thoughts about this:
If you happen to be a massive idiot online (as many people do, not just Flatards and conspiracists), then I suspect that many other people are quite well aware of your idiocy (and I am likely to be one of the latter). That's because so many people that exhibit abundant idiocy seem incapable of anything else (including absorbing facts and explanations given to them).
As one of a former colleague's T-shirts pointed out, "I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you". Maybe that's where the disconnect happens. Perhaps fortunately for me, I don't know. I just block liberally and move on because life's too short and "ain't nobody got time for that". I do miss his snark, though, because he was better at it than I am (difficult to comprehend as that might be for some).
Oh, for those of you whom don't know, Smart Asian Theory is essentially this: No matter how smart you are, there is always an Asian person, somewhere, whom is smarter than you, even if you are a smart Asian. Of course, this only stops being true if one is the world's smartest Asian person.
"On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog!"
"Do you mind leaving me alone, Eric? I am on the computer!"

We are all geniuses about some things and idiots about others. It's part of what makes the world go round.
