Morning update.

George is doing well. He's allowed to be reclined in bed, and is feeling much more comfortable. The neurologist allowed them to pause his blood thinners in order for him to get a lung biopsy. They want to make sure the nodule found on his lung isn't cancer. He's got a long way to go, but I'm hopeful that he'll be okay. Cancer is the last thing he needs to deal with.

@kaylachan You are wise to have them do this now.
After you receive the good word, then you and your hubby can concentrate on his rehabilitation following his stroke.

Good, it seems he is in good hands. Lets just hope and pray he is able to make a full recovery.

It looks good. The facial drooping may never go away, but his legs seem strong.

Doctor wants to get him a little stronger before stopping the blood thinner to do it. But, at this rate he should get it done by Monday.

If it’s not one thing….
I’m thankful he’s doing better after the stroke, and I certainly hope and pray that’s not cancer in his lung.
Oh, ask the hospital staff if you can (if you’re up to it) bring Chilly in to visit George. Hospitals have come a long way, and they realize that pets can help the healing process.

I am going to wait until he gets on another floor, to ask. I need to be ale to close a door if I'm going to let Chilly run around and get on the bed.

They've postponed the biopsy until Monday. But I suppose that's the best thing. They want the stroke to clear up, first.

He does not need any more critical health issues at this time. I hope the nodule is something random and harmless.
