I woke up today to the last of the panamerican games. There are interviews on TV while we wait for the parapanamerican games to start. We proudly came out in 7th place with our assorted medals. The US, of course, was first followed by Brazil. These news are wonderful although news people manage to tell other things that horrify me such as Russia trying out nuclear weapons or a politician from Israel that suggested that a bomb should be thrown over Gaza (he was removed of his official political duties immediatly though). I am watching TV and mylotting now and this time, after yesterday with no electricity, I´m not taking anything for granted. I love to be able to listen to TV while I mylot with a cup of coffee at my side. Now I´ll go to read your posts, friends.

Congratulations to your country for the Parapan American games. I am so concerned about Russia, I fear they have enough of this war and they really plan to drop a nuclear bomb.

I haven't been following both wars. They are too horrible. I have seen pictures of the Russia war and it's so sad. Yesterday I got caught up with a murder trial I had been sorta following and I worked on my best friend's diamond painting.

Good day. I didn't get a chance to see any of the games. However, I did log into the site frequently to check on overall results. It's sad that the unrest and hate of the world have to spoil the fun for everyone else. Hopefully nobody was hurt during this time.
