Here's innocence

The photo shows Fred cat. He is sleepy and hogging my lap in the photo. It is unusual for him to be in need of closeness. He has been playful yesterday and today- a clear sign of feeling better. My world saw some sunshine today. We've had hard rain lately so having sun for a few hours felt good. I'm ready for all things glitter. Yup. Christmas. I'm ahead of myself as I get ready for the Yule Tale- taking an inventory of how many manilla envelopes do I have and will need? How many I will mail out this year? One of my sisters and I are planning her seasonal visit this coming month. If she can't get a ride from her daughter she will need to book a train sooner than later. Better to be ahead than behind when it comes to trains and getting a seat. Before hubby and I moved we did not get Christmas visitors. Sharing the All Things Lit Up here in town was loads of fun last year. Should be this year. I do love how some folks show off their artistic tendencies with lights. Just love it. Can't wait.

@rebelann I deeply miss my three acres. I don't miss those neighbors. Not walking past animal illness and property gross outs has really taken a strain from me. We tried to relieve some of that nastiness but could only do so much. So far the world is better over here. There is an animal rescue here that is amazing.

@rebelann Thank you. It would have been terrible if hubby had had his medical issues in the other place- just not the medical stuff he needed over there.

I’m so glad you have all these things to look forward to! It kind of all sounds magical where you live. Of course, Fred makes everything seem a little more magical on his own.

Thanks @AmbiePam. There are some orgres here but there also was a ton of interesting light displays last year and the senior thrift store was a ton of fun.

What is weird here is the fact people really decorate a lot for Halloween but not that much for Christmas.

@jstory07 How strange. Last year downtown was fairy land. Many folks lit up their Craftsman houses, too.

@bennychndra He appears to be doing better. Cat medicine is a marvel these days. Fred takes meds to control his heart beat due to having a heart murmur.
