Last night I finished reading Saving Her Vampire, part of the Embracing the Bond series book 4). This is a standalone interlocking book.
This book follows Bash the vampire and Marie the human. Marie sees Bash as her dark angle and doesn't mind the fact that he likes to hurt people. These are people who deserve to have Bashes rath put on them.
Like all good stories especially a paranormal romance things go back so very bad.
Blood is shed of course because what would a vampire book be without some? Bash is in the look department is like Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If you have seen the show then you know what the man looks. Also a smutty romance sorry it's not tame at all.

I love the serise and the fact that they are not super long and can be read independently from each other if someone wants to. So far each couple's groupings have been interesting and some of them are more intertwined than others. so far I've read 3 panther brothers mated to a panther female shifter, a vampire mated to a human (she has some witch powers found in book 3), Two male wolf shifters (best friends) mated to a human woman (she is best friend with the girl that turned in a vampire), then this one and now I'm reading the next one which is 2 gold male dragons mated to a human girl. There are a few more characters that have been introduced but don't play big roles but could have books on their own if the author wants them to.
