Randy Ruth who lives in Anita Iowa received some bad news that his dog Molly who was at a grooming shop on June 15 ran away from the Spitfire Farms that is owned by Rose Shoemaker when the door of the grooming place was left open by accident. Molly who is microchipped had been seen by farmers in Adair and Anita was seen by farmers in both communities but they could not catch her until a farmer named Nick Kopp did manage to rescue Molly and return her to Randy who is happy to have his pet back home after 136 days Molly lost about 40 pounds but she is making progress with the help of veterinarians. Rose is sorry that due to her error of leaving the door of her dog grooming shop open, Molly could have either passed away or suffer a serious injury or illness. Rose will now keep the doors of her grooming business closed during working hours from now on. Link is breitbart.com/health/2023/11...

Happy that Molly was found and returned back to Randy. I am sure there was no malicious intent on Rose's part.

Rose insisted that Molly running away was an accident.

And did Molly explain why she ran away and why she did not try to find her home? This is what I would like to know but glad Molly is back home,

That is what I am wondering why the dog did not return home either since when my cats go outside for a walk, they return home after a few hours.

I would have been devastated if that had been my dog, and would have never used that grooming place again. My dog is everything to me. I am so glad the dog was returned.

I would not blame you by not ever going to that grooming place ever again because a dog got lost by running away from the store due to a careless act.

That is true since losing the dog would have been heartbreaking for her owner.

What a heart warming news. That's the reason we take our Kittu in a lease whenever we take him out.

I am in agreement with you. Molly did have a rough time being away from home.

So glad Molly is back home. So true George. She had learned her lesson and will keep closed for now on.
