11 November - What I'm Thankful for Today

So, I did well today. With all the freebies out there for Veterans, I didn't partake in any of them. That's a win for me since it mostly involves free meals and you know what free meals does - it goes to the waistline.
It's a nice cool day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA with the computer showing the temp at 43 F.
I'm thankful for the sleep I got last night. I managed more than eight hours despite the pain in my back.
I'm thankful I got my steps this morning. I had two hundred to go. Now I'm four hundred over. 
I'm thankful for spending time here with you and getting the notifications done three times today. It's always fun to see what you're doing in the world.
Green Bay had the Holiday Parade, so it's official, time to put up the tree. Mine has been turned on since October 29. I'm not hauling out the big tree this year. I have ornaments all over the apartment, all year round, so I'm good. My favorite holiday is Christmas. So that makes me thankful for the holiday season.
I'm thankful for the four chapters I worked on today. It's going fast. I expect to publish Destination Love next week.

I am grateful for the nice weather today as well as the work I am doing with Prime Opinion surveys that has been great in making money on a daily basis.

Good for you for getting that sleep! I've really been struggling with getting good quality sleep for a while now. I am thinking of investing in a better mattress next year after I get my tax return.

You look so cute in your uniform...
I have holiday stuff* out all year round, too, but I pull out a few extra for Christmas, like my mother's ceramic tree and the stocking I cross-stitched many moons ago.
*Birthday, Valentine's, Easter, Hallowe'en...

I'm thankful for time spent with my hubby. We will watch the Cleveland Browns play today. We also watched a movie together last night. I hope you're enjoying your weekend.
