127 days until spring. The weather for the next week will be in the 50s and 60s Fahrenheit. For November, I will take it.
The Browns squeaked out another win yesterday against the Ravens.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Bean and ham soup
Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - Peanut butter and jelly sandwich
What did you eat yesterday?

The temps here will reach the low 70s for this coming week and the lows will only be down to the mid-40s. I have no problem with those temps at all.
I would have thrown the bean soup away. I won't eat shelled beans. But I won't eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, either.
I had chicken nuggets and seasoned fries for breakfast and the same again for my lunch. I didn't eat supper yesterday and am getting hungry at 4 am today.
We have appointments to get our Covid shot and Pretty will also get the flu shot on Tuesday.
I hope you have a wonderful week.

We still haven't gone to get our COVID shots and flu shots. Can't seem to blast myself out of the house. Thanks. You have a wonderful week too.

@LindaOHio I see my doctor for my every six-month visit so I will get my flu shot then. I don't want the Covid shot so won't be going for that
I had wanted to go to the pharmacy for the flu shot but I never got there so will wait until I see my doctor

Yesterday, I was good.
Breakfast was a banana, Raisin Bran, and apple butter sandwich. Lunch was venison, baked potato w/sour cream, and banana. Supper was an apple butter sandwich. The snack was dark chocolate M&Ms and Dove Promise and a concoction I made with a banana, unsweetened coconut flakes, raspberries, oatmeal, and dark chocolate baking powder. The scale was happy this morning.

Looks like a fairly decent weather week and anytime there's no snow in the forecast I'm happy.
Last night we just reheated leftovers from our company on Saturday.

@LindaOHio I have my fingers crossed that we don't have a bad winter. I'm looking forward to your spring countdown.

I know what you mean. I'll take just about any day above freezing this time of year.

@LindaOHio We eat a lot of pork. It's one of the cheaper meats.

I would admit we have had some pretty nice weather here too, and I am not complaining one bit about it, that's for sure.
Last night we went to a restaurant in Cape Girardeau, Missouri called Mary Jane's. We have been there a few times before. On this last visit I had the hoisin salmon with some rice and green beans and my wife had a prime rib French dip. Delicious, even if my $23 salmon was lacking in substance. I called it a minnow. lol

@LindaOHio I would have ordered it, likely, had it not been a sandwich.

It has been nice weather for November, except for a couple really cold days.
PB & J sounds good. I think I had a cheeseburger yesterday

When hubs retired on disability and I was still working, he would make a PB&J sandwich and peel a banana for me every day. I never got tired of them.

@LindaOHio That's nice that he would do that for you. The banana part, not so good sounding haha!

Yes. Hopkins had a real job to do; and fortunately he succeeded.

For lunch I had an incredible BBQ chicken sandwich in a “dive” gas station restaurant in Greenville, Alabama. For dinner, a chicken taco at Chuy’s in Huntsville, Alabama.

@LindaOHio When we eat a little more for lunch, we eat very little for dinner.

Sunday we went to my mom's house for dinner. Turned out she had already eaten. She had her co-worker come with her boyfriend and they had food together after he installed a camera for my mom.
It was just hubby and I eating. Mom made mushroom soup (from wild forested mushrooms), pasta and chicken stroganoff, and different patties (one was chicken, another was beef and lamb I think). And there was a side salad too.
Your soup looks good. I'd axe the ham though.

@LindaOHio I wasn't a big fan of her patties. Perhaps she tried a new recipe.

We had visitors over the weekend so we prepared plenty of food, which turned out to be far too much! We had squash soup then fragrant chicken and lentils, tamarind chickpeas with spinach and yogurt, plain Basmati rice, followed by raspberry Pavlova. We will be eating that again today as well!
