I am so happy I have been losing weight which I have been working hard to and it os paying off. I started at 212 and I am at 190 now I am trying to get back down to 185 where I was at when I met my boyfriend and I am almost there but with the holidays here it is going to be hard but I am going to keep pushing hard at it.

Congratulations. I usually like to lose at least 5 pounds before the holidays; but that's not happening! Have a great day.

My doctors told me a few years ago that I get older, it will be harder for me to lose weight. I am happy to eat less food and do more exercises to shed some pounds.

I have to agree with your doctor it is harder to lose weight once you get older.

Congratulations and hope you will reach your goal very soon!
I am also working on losing weight now, perhaps not hard enough, I haven't reach my goal yet. Well, at least now the weight is not increasing.... It's really not easy to lose weight after I reached 40.

@Tina30219 Hope you are feeling much better with your back now.
My husband used to have back issues, and did a surgery too. He gained lots of weight too. Luckily he is feeling much better now and is able to exercise, so he started to lose weight. Not only exercise, but he is doing intermittent fasting as well. I remember the doctors used to advise him to lose weight, as it'll help his back issues. Finally, after many years, he started to lose weight and now he seems to be healthier.

When I was having back issues before I had my surgery I did not care what I ate or if I gained I was depressed. You are right though the older we get it is harder to lose the weight
