Last Friday was a gas. Saturday fog starting to roll in. Sunday I knew it. Heck was having fun with me. The almighty shivers descended on me so I laid down and fell deeply asleep for two sweet hours. And took more pain pills. No pool on Monday. This morning I woke to my left lymph node swollen like it wanted to be a walnut. I also hadn't slept much. So, yup, woke feeling like burnt toast. All this is my excuse why I have amused myself by playing Santa. First time ever I bought an Irish cardigan sweater from Vermont Country Store for hubby's Christmas gift. I have heard him gleefully talking to daughter on the phone then telling me a big something would be showing up on our doorstep that I must ignore. The goofball. Sweet but a goof. I also bought some plastic candy cane ornaments for the tree due to Peter almost adult cat having his first Christmas with us. He may still need to bat at things. Just for kicks. I should be better tomorrow. No nose sniffles. Just throat and glands issues. And funky exhaustion. Clogged ears.
